For a new deployment, TrueNAS SCALE. CORE is now in maintenance mode, meaning it still works and still receives stability updates, but all new features, apps and active development are going into SCALE, which is Linux-based and supports Docker apps and KVM virtual machines directly on the unit. Maximum raw capacity depends on the model and the largest qualified drives available at the time of purchase, which increases over time as larger drives are qualified. Current published figures are around 90 TB for the X, around 105 TB for the X+ and around 215 TB for the R [CONFIRM 1]. Actual usable capacity after RAID redundancy is lower than raw capacity, and Velocity Host can size this correctly for your specific redundancy requirements as part of a quote.
