Our resellers have been screaming out to have a suitable platform to be able to refer clients that they think may be better suited directly engaging with our team. Other resellers don’t specifically want to resell hosting services and would like the option to simply refer clients to us directly. Then other SMB’s simply like to refer new business our way because of how we support and help their business grow and trust us enough to refer their friends, families and business associates to benefit from our services.

More on Spectre and Meltdown Security.

Spectre and Meltdown Security Looking At The First Line Of Defence For Your Business; As the industry comes to terms with the logistics and scale of the Spectre and Meltdown issue we are starting to see some cracks in the wall from vendors on providing stable patches to counteract the potential stealing of sensitive data across the board.

If you’re not up to speed with the issue take a look at our previous post Spectre and Meltdown for a quick overview of the problem at hand.

Reports from bloggers and news articles on BSOD – Blue Screen Of Death issues after applying Microsoft patches – Microsoft halts Spectre/Meltdown patch roll out after AMD BSoD issues, VMware in the last few days has pulled its hypervisor patches as they are in a state of flux to work coherently with OS patching. As a result, VMware is delaying new releases of microcode updates while it works with Intel to resolve microcode patch issues as quickly as possible. Cloud Strategy – Private Cloud

Cloud Strategy – Which is right for your organisation?

I recently read an article by SmartCompany “the first three things Steve Jobs would have done if he ran your business” about the late Steve Jobs’ return to Apple and the change in company strategy to shift from major fail into a global dominating brand.

If you’re interested in reading the article head over to SmartCompany, it’s quite inspiring and a good read with the video. Below is a quick link to the video.

It got me thinking about what we do here and how we help clients develop and deliver a successful cloud strategy that will change the way they do business.

Managed Services – Why Bigger Doesn’t Always Mean Better

Managed Services – The key to your success.

Picking up from our previous post, here’s a link in case you missed it “Cloud Provider; Roadmap – Service Is Key!“, bigger doesn’t always mean better when it comes down to service. (vh) really offers a major POD – Point Of Difference in this area when it comes to personal and managed services.

Compare the Pair

Recently we reviewed the latest offerings from the big providers, in particular the VMware vCloud Air service offering. One of the major POD’s discovered is a lack of any managed services; they offer only add-on support for the vCloud Air environment.

Meaning?  It means if you lack the technical expertise or in-house tech support staff to manage your environment you’re going to be in a bit of a pickle. But what if you really need this level of support?

Welcome to Velocity Host (vh) All-Australian Managed Services.

Head over to the MANAGED SERVICES product page to find out a little more about our managed services.

Managed Services not just a cliche with (vh)
Cliche hand shake representing good service. We don’t work on a cliches just good service.
